A Message from the President

Dear friends,

From my family to yours, I want to wish you all a very happy Diwali and a prosperous New Year. I am honored to have been given an opportunity to lear our community through the Gujarati Samaj of Delaware. Our organization gros stronger every year; thanks to the hardwork of all it's members. We continue to enjoy musical events, nataks, picnics, Navratri Garba and Diwali functions. Our programs are bigger and better every year and our committee members will strive to ensure that we continue to maintain and improve on that level of excellence. I am so grateful for all the time, energy and hard work they have sacrificed in making every event so special.

I remain dedicated to maintaining our unity and will continue to strengthen our identity as a commnity. Over the years, we have made tremendous gains. Our political presence and involvement with private institutions is growing at a tremendous pace. As long as we stay together, we will continue to grow stronger, creating a better future for ourselves and our children. Every individual needs to continue to support our organization. THe Gujarati Samaj of Delaware is only as strong as the participation of all its members. I encourage you all to stay active and help us to continue to move forward.

It has been my pleasure to serve as your president this past year. I want to thank the Board Members for trusting me with this leadership role. Thanks to all of our Navratri program sponsors and all the advertisers for your generous contributions and without whom, this directory would not be possible. We have come a long way and I am confident that we will continue to go further.
